Lauren & Nandan’s DC Portrait Photos - Washington DC Monuments

So now that it’s been seven months since the engagement photoshoot and close to the wedding date, Lauren, Nandan, and I needed to get back together again and get some more photos! I decided that we needed to get some morning monument shots in the heart of DC so we met at the Jefferson Memorial. It’s so great getting together in the morning to photograph because no one is around, no one is walking into your shot, and it really helps comfort my clients when they don’t have a thousand people looking at them (haha).

After capturing some special moments in the Jefferson Memorial and capturing the Washington Monument in the background, we drove to the National Arboretum to take more photographs. Unfortunately we needed a permit to shoot there, but only found that out after we were just finishing up (definitely a good note for checking for these things in the future; sorry USNA).
