I love photographing in the Bon Air Rose Garden as it has so many possibilities with beautiful backdrops and lush greenery. And being able to photograph a wonderful mom and son makes it even better.
We got pretty lucky photographing the fall colors in this beautiful garden before it started to show signs of winter. We did have some flowers in bloom, which was good, but you can definitely see that the cold was impacting them. When it came time to photograph Meghann and her so adorable and cute son, we just had a fun time with letting him do his thing and making sure that mom was there to treasure the beautiful and funny moments. There was some posing involved as is always necessary with every shoot, but of course when it comes to kids you always have to be at the ready for those super spontaneous moments that they adorably do.
