July! What a time to be outside! Or is it? haha… Thankfully for Nhi, Marco, and me we had a lot of shade to keep us cool!

As we walked to our reserved spot next to this wonderful pond, we were sweating! And it was only 9:30 in the morning! But the garden was so worth it! I loved how Nhi and Marco were able to reserve the pavilion right next to this beautiful pond. This being my first time photographing at Green Spring Gardens, I found it interesting to learn that it is a museum and a national historic site. The park has a wooded stream valley with ponds, a native plant garden, a historic house, and so much more. It’s a really great place to do an engagement session!

We started our photoshoot in the pavilion with some poses, followed by dancing. We then moved on to a cute little bridge for some standing and sitting photos where Nhi and Marco can have fun and be romantic. To change up the scenary a bit, we posed next to two ponds and I had them sit together under a beautiful tree where they can just sit, breath, and enjoy this amazing moment. Then I took them down a wooden path that led us to our final destination: the bridge over the stream. I honestly didn’t think Nhi and Marco would be willing to go rock jumping in the stream, especially in heels, but sure enough they did just that and let me tell you I could not have been more happy! I love how their photos turned out! You can see a lot of love they have for each other and a lot of fun too!
